Start by preparing the shrimp: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the peeled and deveined shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, ground cumin, garlic powder, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Use your hands or a spoon to gently toss the shrimp until they are evenly coated in the seasoning mix.

    Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned shrimp in a single layer. Cook them for approximately 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink, opaque, and are cooked through. Avoid overcrowding the skillet; you may need to cook in batches.

      While the shrimp cook, warm the corn tortillas. You can do this by placing them in a dry skillet over low heat for about 30 seconds on each side, or wrap them in a damp paper towel and microwave for 30 seconds until they are soft and pliable.

        To assemble the tacos, take a warm tortilla and place a generous handful of shredded cabbage in the center. Add a portion of the cooked shrimp on top of the cabbage.

          Next, layer on the sliced avocado, followed by a sprinkle of chopped cilantro for a fresh touch.

            Serve your tacos immediately, offering lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the top and hot sauce for those who like some extra heat.
